I 'still' play CS:Source with friends sometimes and like, half the people on this stats page I have played against for 15-20 years now.

Queuing into a match of random people you likely won't ever see again the next game just doesn't compare to jumping into a community server you're a regular in for years and being like:

"Sup dude"

"Gonna fuck you up all night, you ready?"

"Lets go, bitch".

Tim is one of the main homies behind the franchise that has consumed me for so so long. Always love his work (Fallout is like ground-zero for so much modern crpg design ethos, but Arcanum imo is his greatest game).

At least until I get fed up with places that can't make a decent fucking pizza. Or I start missing quality Italian Beefs. Then I might go okay, I'll just find a new damn job if possible and come back lmao.

Yeah, that's the frustrating thing about Arcanum in 2025. I just did a playthrough that went without a single issue, however I made it about 65 percent of the way through my recent run and decided to mess with the games .ini file to change a few settings and ... welp lol

When people who come off of babies-first-crpg the last few years of playing BG3 and ask "What other games have a ton of world reactivity like this", I'm always like
