NORWAY UPDATE

- In the 2nd quarter of 2025, we spent more on fossil fuel extraction than we've ever spent before

- 2025 will probably end up with record-high investments in fossil fuels

- Spending is so high every prior projection wildly underestimates final $$ (this is worsening since 2021)

New Working Paper: Teenage boys and girls in Norway are more ideologically polarized than ever. Using data for 130,000 high-schoolers over 34 years, I find that a surge in anti-feminism among boys is driving much of the recent trend.📈

it's worth noting exactly why helseplattformen is such a terrible fit for norway: it was developed by an american company, specifically for a for-profit health care system. it works pretty well in the states – specifically because there are countless for-profit admins, working for myriad companies
