One thing I really like about Mamdani is that he speaks truth to power. I don't agree with all of his stances, but I think he actually cares about all and not just the few wealthy people and big businesses.
Mamdani: "My message to ICE agents & to everyone across this city is that everyone will be held to the same standard of the law. If you violate it, you must be held accountable. There is sadly a sense growing that certain people are allowed to violate that law, whether they be POTUS or ICE agents."

I'm hard-pressed to think of a non-Jewish Democratic politician who has spoken to Jews with more respect and empathy than Mamdani. The fact that many Jewish establishment orgs are going after him while staying relatively mum on resurgent Nazism is a disaster, both for American Jews and in general.

Sadly, I know people who think this way... but I am starting to see them wake up just a bit. The Trump/GOP regime has gone way too far and its actions are harming, not helping, many of those who voted for it.
