That exact thing killed an announced Disney theme park in Virginia because it was considered too close to Manassas. I think the whole proposed park site is now a housing development.

I used to work with a different aerospace computer that stored enough checksum bits that a separate task could and would just cycle through memory correcting corrupted bits.

I have no Airbus insight. However, you could, theoretically, write a memory manager that stores checksums with the data. That would at least (probably) warn you of corrupted memory and you could have the computer give us rather than blindly keep going with bad data.

Disney should bring this back.
