I stopped reading the book this is based on (The Ax) so as not to “spoil the movie.” Bold, fairly illiterate strategy; let’s see if it pays off.

I’ve long held that I was the first teenager to ever wear pajama pants as track warmups; a few people teased me on the first day I did it but it caught on like wildfire and is the standard nationwide even now. Somebody I went to high school with found evidence! (notice nobody but me has them on)
