I was on my university's Presidential Symposium panel on the beauty of play today! Talking about games with colleagues in psych, drama, and sociology was fascinating, and playing Even Quads afterwards was great. @awm-math.org

Of course, I'm still getting good use out of the Do Not Write Something Is True Before You Prove It stamp a couple students gave me the last time I taught this course when I complained about my hand cramping up.

The students have been placing little plastic ducks around my building. Here's the top of my office doorframe. I've been told there are five in my real analysis classroom. I love it.

Okay. I have Scienced. Chocolate Shoppe indeed beats out Daily Scoop, in no small part because as a vegetarian avoiding non-fair-trade chocolate, my choices at the latter were pretty minimal. The blueberry was fine, but not amazing.
