He/Him

No matter where you are tonight, or who you are; you might not know it, but somebody loves you - Peter Simon
III do.

It's the most obvious misstep in the barely-changing playlist of Heart Xmas

Similarly strange - seeing this HD Coldplay performance from 15 years ago

In British English, they got replaced by hyphens, where you might confused the coop with the co-op.

Either with a hyphen or with no indicator, I think it still reads better than a diaeresis.
November 29, 2025 at 11:46 PM
The diaeresis to indicate two identical vowels in a pair should be pronounced separately is such an old-fashioned convention that they're pretty much the only publication still doing it.

It still hangs around elsewhere with names like "Zoë" and words like "naïve".

Ours gets moved for the Christmas period, presumably so someone buys a wheel of Stilton by accident

I am indeed!

Thanks to my extensive knowledge of supermarket discount stickers, I can exclusively reveal that your picture is of a Tesco yellow sticker.

I read a lot of books back when I was at school. It takes so much more effort for me now and I don't know why.
November 27, 2025 at 10:21 PM
The Asda one annoys me purely because of the use of the awful word "spenny".

Motability is a great scheme. It could so easily be an engine for getting electric cars out on the road very quickly. Instead, they've made some Reform-mollifying changes that just punish disabled people.
November 26, 2025 at 7:39 PM
And then who would cover the increased costs of having to look after the older car? The Motability scheme, of course!
November 26, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Suddenly you'd have a constant buyer of second-hand vehicles, and people would still be ignorant of why second-hand prices have gone up.
November 26, 2025 at 7:39 PM
I saw written somewhere that one argument is that Motability cars shouldn't be new, but nearly new (used). Motability cars provide a constant source of well-looked-after, low mileage second-hand cars.

Time to stop being an IBS amateur and become an IBS Pro

The accompanying Gingerbread Pepsi Max is less like filth, I quite enjoyed that

Our local council collects them for free, and provide a bigger replacement sharps bin than the GP did.
November 22, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Absolutely - I agree entirely
November 21, 2025 at 3:58 PM
They did make "Dug Days", a series of shorts involving Carl and the dog.
November 21, 2025 at 3:38 PM
Hopefully it at least tastes nicer than Dioralyte, that stuff tastes evil.
November 20, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Important to note that Sebastian Payne is 5 years younger than Simon Bird, yet looks decades older

I think 6 games will last me the rest of my life now I'm past my teenage years

I saw someone yesterday tipping a shelf-display of Pot Noodles into their trolley at Tesco. Presumably a festive pack would be too much for the average Pot Noodle fan.
November 17, 2025 at 1:11 AM
I've always had wide feet, so I just get size 11 or 12 and let that take care of things. Fuck knows what size I would actually be if I was properly measured for some shoes.

I'll always defend turkey, despite the right-wingers. Cooked and rested properly, it's a brilliant meat.
