c'mon Hakeem Jeffries, you can't keep letting Bill Kristol outflank you from the left.
For some reason Democratic leaders seem to prefer telling voters what they won’t be able to do, rather than what they’d like to do.

If Hegseth ordered a war crime and lied about it, shouldn’t Ds try for impeachment? Put Rs on the spot. They might get a few defections.

Jeffries says not to expect Democrats to pursue Hegseth impeachment over boat strikes
"Republicans will never allow articles of impeachment to be brought to the floor," he said.

Unless she has data &/or evidence, she didn't make a case. She just talked out of her ass

I’ve never had Chinese food for Christmas dinner in my life and I’ve spent 43 christmases in California. My wife does like to get Italian food tho cuz her people are from NJ.

Even the one Christmas I spent in Japan I ate traditional American Christmas food on Christmas.
✨IS THIS JUST A CALIFORNIA THING???

THANKSGIVING ~>Big dinner feast

CHRISTMAS ~> Big breakfast, 💥 Chinese takeout for dinner

As a Californian idk nothing about big breakfast and Chinese dinner.

My California Christmas is traditional Christmas dinner with a side of tamales. (Tamales are a Christmas food, argue with your abuela)

Government actors who refuse to be bound by the rule of law are not morally entitled to its protection.
KARL: Did you know about the judge's order when you issued your order for the planes to continue?

KRISTI NOEM: This is an activist judge. We comply with all federal orders that are lawful and binding.

Watching people “discover” environmental racism, and then double down on doing it has been depressing.
It’s so wild how the wealthy are destroying the Amazon that potentially has the cure for all the cancers in favor of an Amazon that’s creating new types of cancers

Same except the same songs for 30 years
My hobbies include:

- Switching between the same three apps for hours
- Not speaking to anyone for days at a time
- Listening to the same songs I've been listening to for 15 years
- Imagining myself in situations that will literally never exist

Why are they always trying to keep our ancestors remains?!
There have long been rumors that the Skull and Bones fraternity house in New Haven contains the skull of Apache leader Geronimo.

A researcher unearthed a letter in 2006 that seemed to corroborate that claim.

I found two more letters in Yale’s archives, along with more corroborating evidence.
While we’re on the topic:

Letters I found in Yale archives said Skull and Bones members took Native American remains from a grave in Oklahoma in 1918.

There’s school sports in other countries but the top level players aren’t participating in them because they’re in pro academies
I think this also extends further down the line - it doesn’t seem like other countries’ secondary schools have teams that serve as both drivers of loyalty to the school and part of the pro athlete pipeline. It’s something unique about US culture.

just a reminder that *lots* of countries have universities, and (to my knowledge) none of them but the U.S. treat their universities as largely minor league sports franchises
LSU is paying its previous football coach over $50 million NOT to coach there while likely guaranteeing Kiffin something approaching double that, all while having an academic hiring freeze and budget cuts across the board. What is the purpose of a university (rhetorical)?
SOURCES: Lane Kiffin is expected to accept LSU's offer to become the Tigers next head coach. Kiffin is set to meet with his Ole Miss team this morning at 9 AM CT. As we reported yesterday morning, LSU has been very confident it was going to land Kiffin. www.nytimes.com/athletic/684...

Kristi Noem refuses to directly answer a question about what Trump means by "remigration" -- a word that, as Kristen Welker notes, is often invoked by white nationalists in Europe

Tarrant sends more kids to prison than any other Texas county
Critics say state District Judge Alex Kim is sending too many children to the state’s failing youth prison system. The longtime GOP politician points to a rise in teen gang violence.
