"One of the great journalists of our time at a venerable institution for investigative journalism... Joe Patrice at Above the Law" -- Judge William Pryor (Somehow I think he might’ve not meant that earnestly)
Mike here does not understand that senior status judges don’t get replaced upon retiring. Would be really embarrassing if he like, you know, used to be involved in the Senate confirmation process for federal judges.

"So you've not left the office for 90 consecutive hours because you've been in meetings over the definition of 'inventory.'"

"That's right, Dave"

"Uh huh."

The replies really drive home how fucking stupid these people are. No data… just vibes.

I think the actual number (remembering a W. Bush era study) is around $1.30, but the point is that those benefits create a market for food that otherwise rots. So it helps farmers, and truckers, and retailers.

This is a standard that only applies to Democrats. Politico says Mamdani crushing the opposition but with less than 50% isn’t a mandate and shrugs when Trump has never sniffed 50% and imposes an authoritarian regime.

What an absolute snowflake. He didn’t want to keep teaching a class, where he had all the power, over students who almost certainly skewed mostly his way, because he’s too chickenshit to stand behind his principles in the face of vague disdain from some 3Ls.

AI performs a lot of useful, time saving tasks. But the people building it keep coming up with unnecessary tasks that it’s terrible at because they’re hopelessly chasing revenue that doesn’t exist.

This is about spamming you with ads.

Pretty much everything in this has been scientifically debunked.

So, to catch you up on X, the Abundance people are telling women they need to make straight men less lonely and that the president who deported more people in recent memory (Biden who deported more than Trump I), should be ashamed that they didn’t do more deporting.

Remember, Zelensky didn't wear a suit, which was an insult to the seriousness of the White House...

Mike Lee clerked for Justice Alito but doesn’t know that you can’t defame a dead person in America.

Kinda puts into perspective the sort of “rule of law” based operation Alito is running over there.

Seems a tad suspicious to call the idea of releasing the Epstein files "a hostile act."

But, you know, Zelenskyy not wearing a suit was deeply disrespectful of the office…

I see that over on X they’re still on the “we feel bad for Bluesky” kick that isn’t a sign of pathetic desperation at all.
