Absolutely, an integrative approach is necessary. We are just starting a #PEPR @agencerecherche.bsky.social project aiming at combining biodiversity, heat island effect and air quality on the cities of Marseille and Lille. Going to be working with experts on 🐿️!

Yeap, not easy at times to provide a robust review aiming to improve the science, whilst feeling like you spent more time on the manuscript than the authors did. My feeling is that the editor should catch those right away and not be delegated to reviewers..

Indeed - particularly “nature based solutions” to mitigate heat island effects include often… adding plants!

I rarely use it, as our department doesn’t have it. Since a few months, I’ve been having issues to connect to meetings hosted by colleagues via web or app. The other day I gave up and tried then on a Mac and it worked 🙄.
