🙂 When I was married I think I was probably the better cook. Later, my sister would sometimes stay at my apt on weekends; she liked my cooking!

Well, I did learn that lesson! I loved watching Mom cook, liked her cooking, and always had an interest. One of my few "new age man" qualities is that I can cook!

I was lazy & clueless. Not bad, just not awake. I've always been in awe of little girls who stood up and took care of families.

Oboy! We'd explode outta the house & Mom might not see us again till dinner!

Lol what you describe is exactly what I come from! I don't hate the country at all, but I do yearn for good connection through earnest conversation.

I've been in the city 15 years---doesn't seem at all that long--and in the metro area twice that. It's not been all wonderful (I admit I'm kind of a glass half empty type), but it's familiar. I mostly fear removing to a redneck backwater. But we shall see.

I thought any country's airspace belonged to them. Silly me. I guess Donold Littlehands knows better--being "King" and all. His sovereign power extends not only to foreign nations but to the skies above, as well. All hail King Donold!

I didn't see that, but there was a time when Chinese Kung Fu movies were on every weekend. But I didn't really start liking martial arts minutes till the modern fluidity of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, etc. And then I became a Kurosawa fan, also.
