I see the BBC's famous "pro-trans bias" is in evidence again, today...

Antibiotic resistance or diagnostic overshadowing of interstitial cystitis anyone? (Abx don't work on inflammatory disease they need Loratadine antihistamines)
this is potentially TMI but also *v useful information* so: did you know that (in the UK) if you start to feel you're getting a UTI on Saturday evening you can do an online form with eg Boots and be picking up your antibiotics by 10am on Sunday morning? and then start to feel better by 11am?

The answer, in terms of 'what the Average Joe do to combat the attempts to oust trans people from society' is to just start new clubs that are renamed the inclusive womens institute, and let their crusty old clubs die with their members.

She used to be an interesting politician, but now cruises through interviews giggling cosily about being a "gay icon" while her party absolutely destroys trans people's lives, as if this is not itself unforgivable, & as if we don't know from history that the rest of the LGBTQ+ family will be next.
