Post a vampire that's not Dracula

Me and the missus always enjoy The Martian as comfort viewing. It helps that there's a great soundtrack, and it's peak competency porn.

I was married, but I'm not married anymore. Women don't like the vehicle.

In my opinion, one of the greatest mockumentaries is one that has not been by many people. Top Knot Detective is hilarious, and it will also make you wish this fake cult TV series is real. Available on digital platforms and Blu-ray via @thirdwindowfilms.com

If you see this repost with a vampire that's not Dracula.

I wonder if you knew that Spotify has decided to call you "Mike Munster"...!

It looks even better in person. If you're chasing after hidden gems of Japanese cinema from the 1990s, buy now!

I'll be reading some of the latest issue of Film Stories this evening. But one of my cats, Duke, got interested in it before me.

No cheating. Your last saved celebrity photo is your therapist. Who is it?

Border is a wonderfully dark and modernised take on troll mythology. Highly recommended.

I'd like to shout out the best mockumentary film that you've likely never seen - Top Knot Detective. It looks Japanese but it's actually Australian (!). A wonderful parody of Japanese samurai films, science fiction, cult fandom, and celebrity personas.

I'm going to go with a guilty pleasure... When I saw the first Transformers film (2007) in the cinema, my jaw dropped to the floor. Twenty-something me was a tiny kid again (and yes all the sequels are rubbish).

Post your favourite Doctor Who, wrong answers only.

Please can everyone give Fish Story a watch. It's a brilliant Japanese film from 2009. It's about a fictional punk band from 1975 saving the world from a meteor strike in 2012. Really. And it has great music, written especially for the film. Do enjoy, if you have time to rent it online.

Thanks must also go to the University of Greenwich and @ice-greenwich.bsky.social for helping to support the event, via the Centre for Creative Futures. We are also hoping that we will see the Ghibliotheque Team back at Greenwich in the near future.
