Huff is safe, evidently he has never talked to an actual woman.

Every once in a while it's still nice to keep the bike out of the weather, but yes, hitch racks are great. I need to replace my 2008 Thule that can't handle 2.4" tires, though.

We have a 2022 RAV4 hybrid, no real complaints. >40 MPG around town. Comfortable. I can’t stuff a fully assembled bike in the back the same way I can in the Odyssey. So-called “cablegate” (Hybrid HV cable corrosion) is the main issue with 5th gen RAV4Hs, not much of a worry in a dry climate.

And if the Venza counts as a wagon, then so does the RAV4, which would be my next recommendation.

If you enjoy high maintenance cost and low fuel efficiency in a minivan, it's hard to beat the R class. My 2015 Odyssey gets high 20 mpg on the highway. It has a hard 1-2 shift when it's cold and the infotainment system is weird, other than that it just works.

I still have scabs on my knee from COTN day 2! I’m not sure I’ll even get a decent bruise from Longmont, but if I sit down too fast my left glute lets me know.

Nice breakdown! I think the course did get slicker between pre-ride and the first start. Or maybe it was just race brain. Hope you're not too sore this morning!

How many cubits high is it, Paul?

It spent a few years in my drawer before I passed it on to Dan (> 6 years ago, it turns out), and then I think it spent a couple years in his drawer between his 2nd and 3rd kids.

Oh wait, I think that’s my kid’s kit that I passed on! 🤦🏻‍♂️

I considered crashing at my daughter’s place tonight (she’s also pretty close to Valmont) but I am not ready for that role reversal!

Yeah man! As long as I can get myself out of bed on time 🥱

There's a "cross traffic does not stop" intersection near my house where some people act like it's a 4-way stop. I've nearly been creamed there a couple times. And don't get me started on the parents who idle in the bike lane during school pickup...

You ok?

All toothy smile and deltoids, that guy

This reminds me that we have a local baker that does a dark chocolate sourdough and let me tell you it’s the perfect base for a next-level fluffernutter.

I fear this would be akin to letting the antimatter touch matter
