If you need any proof that Bending Spoons is just letting #Meetups die and racking in the money of large groups already existing, simply look at the constant, daily spam of bots posting the exact same message in all groups

Spec-Kit giving me commercial options for deployment. Great, given that's most likely what will happen anyways but it bears the question of how long it will take before LLMs are manipulated to be biased towards the platforms of their overlords ^^.

For years I have respected @danabra.mov's for the depth and quality of his writings and thoughts. He is one of my examples of what a technical leader looks like. But this quote genuinely made me chuckle 🤭.

The spam situation on #meetup is getting completely out of hands. The same message in all groups, always from the same generated people, but I also now see hostile takeovers from inactive meetup groups. This is totally fine!
