One thing that has me disenchanted from erotic fiction and erotic art at the moment is how many people will argue passionately in defense of using generative A.I. to do their writing or draw their artwork for them. (I have largely fled @literotica.com, partially for this reason.)

This might be a weird me thing, but I don't consider all art or storytelling depicting explicit sex to be erotic or pornographic. It's like any other art form. Sex can be used to communicate humor, horror, neuroses, social commentary, a million other things. It's self-expression, above all else.

One thing we're unprepared to reckon with at a social level is how our normative female beauty standards are based on adolescent girls. Those standards are designed (and yes, I'm implying intention) to blur the line between pubescence and aduthood. We sexualize adolescent features and body types.

11.5k words for this one. And I've had another one cooking for a while for @literotica.com's Summer Lovin' event that's shaping up to be about as long. Some day, I'll learn how to write two or three pagers again.

For what it's worth, even though I just write my little porn stories, I do try to include the drama of adult life so that there are actual reasons for this stuff to be happening.
They deal with topics that resonate with older adults, like divorce, graphic violence, and owning a car

Just look at how anatomically implausible AI models are tailored not to have the usual insecurity targets (bellies, upper arms, double chins) but everything else (thick thighs, big breasts, fat asses)

I think that pornographic and profane art deserves to exist without any sort of addendum that the real victims are "innocent" lgbtq+ people caught in the crossfire. I think that sex is normal and beautiful and also gross and should not be banned, barred, or persecuted. that's my take.
