It's worse than that. We're actively doing things that will increase VMT like expanding highways, not enforcing SB 743 & excluding heavy-duty trucks from SB 743. We also underfund public transit and active transportation. I'd rather not depend on a recession to reduce VMT.

We need your voice to demand that CARB strengthen these proposed regulations. While they are a step in the right direction, they simply do not go far enough to safeguard the health of California's most vulnerable populations and our atmosphere.
