Do you know how many words I've written today? 0. Same as yesterday, and the day before. The same as I have for a while. And that's okay. Sometimes life has other priorities. And you can't write if you don't live. Don't pressure yourself by comparing others' word counts. #writing #writersofbluesky

Today, I learned that Stephen King wrote a children's book called Charlie the Choo-Choo. It's as horrifying as you'd expect. So, of course, now I need to buy a copy.

I know Star Trek: The Animated Series gets a lot of hate, but I have a soft spot for it. Yes, the animation is awful, but the stories are actually decent. In some cases, excellent. #startrek

Today in The House Of Lords, the amendment tabled by Baroness Kidron was passed with 287 votes in favour against 118 votes opposed.
It would compel AI companies to make their models transparent so creators could see for themselves if their works had been used to train AI models.

We've seen the proposed 100% tariff for films produced outside the US. How long before the same happens to books? Not to sound paranoid, but the potential for censorship through this mechanism is frightening. #writersky
