Please do a section on aphantasia—and how it’s more than just affecting a spectrum of a visual ‘mind’s eye’—but encompasses all sense imagination. Has large implications for education. My understanding is there is correlation with autism in some cases.

I do get the odd students who can enable Linux on their Chromebook but those people are very few & far between. Even Mac users get stumped sometimes on how to add/remove software on their computers

When my teacher Ed students get to my class—and still have Chromebooks, but can’t install open source software, organize files—they ask, “Why didn’t anyone tell me how limited these are? I’m not buying another one”

Did I do my acknowledge ‘correctly’ by Waccamaw standards—I still have no idea as I haven’t seen one modeled & haven’t gotten a reply to my email. But I have tried to carry my practice forward as I have been taught & as is expected of me.

land acknowledgment is not presently part of SC practice. But is now part of mine, though, so with some explanation I acknowledged territory at the opening of both my sessions. I used Google to determine correct pronunciations by watching video clips from/about Waccamaw people…
