This is why I said this cave was worse than it initially appeared to the defenders of the cave.
They did this to protect a rule that will effectively make themselves lame ducks if they ever regain power. You can't pass the things Dems promise with the filibuster in place.

1) No Democratic scandal on par with Trump-Epstein, so it’d be biased and unfair to five it much attention.
2) Trump wouldn’t be shamed into resigning and his cult of personality wouldn’t abandon him, so Trump-Epstein wasn’t worth pursuing.

If and when the Epstein vote passes in both chambers, how long before the DOJ finishes scrubbing evidence and actually releases it.... or do they delay by fighting the law in the courts

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there is serious corruption at the New York Times.
