Confused to still be alive
In journalism, there was so much panic around AI taking over writing jobs, but that only happens when journalists write like machines.

It was really bad for me too though for a bit. I couldn’t remember anything I was doing or process information. I had to leave two jobs etc

I recovered almost entirely from my cognitive issues from Covid though it took about a year of rest, playing games, writing for fun and not pressure. Not the physical issues as much. I still can’t exercise. But I wrote a book since covid, a bunch of articles… just offering some hope

Happened to me too. I went with the company with the wildly lower rate. I’ve learned since then not to do that.

They had ten business names

Look up Ehlers Danlos!
November 28, 2025 at 2:44 PM
Phew! Rather dismissive. I guess you’re not familiar with the commonly established link between Ehlers Danlos and long covid!!

Never too late to learn

Sure I’m just saying you can’t stop at Covid v MECFS, esp as Covid reactivates a lot of known MECFS causes like EBV
November 28, 2025 at 6:39 AM
Well there’s the flaw then.

MECFS includes a totality of post infection illnesses

Covid might be different but they all might be different

Frankly saying Covid “causes” it makes room for vaccines to cause it as both can trigger autoimmunity (Covid far more and worse of course).

There are other neurodivergences that are less genetic

Darn it apologies @walkerbragman.bsky.social you’ve been on our side for awhile. I wasn’t aware https://www.thenation.com/article/society/why-covid-keeps-winning/

Thank you for your perspective on Covid but autism is genetic. Environmental factors can trigger symptoms

Did they compare how MECFS shows up differently for people who acquire it from Lyme disease, Coxsackie, EBV, para virus, etc. also?
