Really? Is Russia under Putin a signatory? I’d find that hard to believe. Putin can theoretically be arrested sad carted off to The Hague for war crimes in any country that decides it’s had enough of his sh*t. Not sure why Trump would be different.

Horticulture substitutes for “whore to culture”. I guess in the Before Times of Dorothy Parker, whore was gender specific for women but these days, anyone can be one. 🤷🏼♀️

It’s not education that drove voters to Trump. Some people are wired to be authoritarian followers. Some of the smartest anti-Trump voters have a HS education. Some who had masters degrees voted for Trump. I think it’s bad situational awareness. No one intentionally walks into an ax murderer.

I know. You’re right. But the one thing that Trump and his allies are really good at is making truth tellers look untrustworthy. You can’t get through to people who don’t trust you. How does pointing out you were right to them change that? Truth will set you free when they want to hear it.

I KNOW, right? I have family members like that. Complete waste of time arguing with them. They’re unsaveable. But the Trump voters who voted for Biden in 2020? Low hanging fruit! Give them an off ramp. They can get off Trump’s crazy train whenever they want.

I don’t think most casual Trump voters did it because of racism. I think they just wanted a break from all the stress of paying their bills any they were lulled into thinking Trump II would be the same as Trump I. Anyway, things are different now and they’re noticing.

I know. I was a child hostage 🤣 of a cult. I know they’re cut off from the world. But people DO leave and in this case, reality is getting to them through price increases. That tends to interfere with the indoctrination process and makes them question their beliefs. Give them an off-ramp.

We don’t have a choice. It’s the electoral map.
It’s like being stuck with people who voted for Brexit. A lot of people regret that vote. Whaddayagunnado? Their votes still count and they have to go somewhere. It’s better if they stop seeing us as the enemy.

And then Russia invaded Ukraine! There is no law that says you can’t re-evaluate your security apparatus in light of new information. Actually, I admire Europeans for adapting to their envs. They’re way ahead of us in the US. So, do what’s best for YOU.

I get it. I’m not happy about it either. But I don’t believe everyone who voted for Trump knew what they were signing up for. Some of them were targets of sophisticated data analytic driven campaign ads where project 2025 was never mentioned. They need an off ramp to save face. Give it to them.
