Evade consequences and then enact violence (and exploit) on others -- today DHS claimed to do a big raid in Florida in which they arrested immigrants allegedly charged with sex crimes.
what if the vast, complex conspiracy of powerful men to ensure they evade consequences for violence and exploitation is just the US criminal legal system

That April raid on a birthday party in Hays County resulted in zero criminal charges, despite claims this was some big TdA bust.

Nice, just an advert for taking kids away from their parents and selling them to Christians. (also mangled words)
Trump: "Christians and more, think of this, more than twice as likely foster care they'll adopt the general population. They adopt to it so easily. When they get out, they adopt to it like it's become second nature. It's amazing."

Also agree with Aaron. People are being moving around and detained with the express purpose of deportation/ expelling them. (The data on exactly who is being detained and where continues to be ...not clear)
I continue to disagree with this. The goal of mass detention is mass deportations. A private prison company leasing 100 beds to ICE gets paid the same if the beds are filled by 100 people for a year each or 1,000 people for a few days each. They don't earn more with long-term detention.
It's not about deporting them. It's about detaining them indefinitely and enriching Prisons for Profiteers and the grift the Convict in the Oval Office collects per detainee.

Tremane Wood is currently on death row, despite his older brother admitting to killing victim Ronnie Wipf in 2002.

Next week, he will have the chance to make his case for mercy.

Oklahoma's attorney general is fighting to ensure his death anyway.

He picked the task force agreement because deputies can do the training online; idk why this is thing people are acting mysterious about. otherwise, he would have had to send 17 deputies to a two week training out of state.
Outgoing MAGA Sheriff Fred Harran told ABC News that his ICE 287 (g) partnership did not sway the election, despite local public outrage over it. "In fact, according to Harran, the immigration issue was 'a positive' for him as a Republican." He lost to Democrat Danny Ceisler by 25,341 votes.
A Pennsylvania sheriff struck a deal with ICE. Months later, he was voted out.
A Philadelphia-area sheriff was ousted last week after facing criticism over a partnership he forged with federal immigration authorities.

this is why i have called these movements "political" and not neutral. there's no "neutral use" of state violence. there's no "neutral" rule of law.
If the Biden administration had sent federal agents to do a law enforcement operation 10X milder in a white suburban neighborhood in order to apprehend a serial pedophile and violent domestic abuser who happened to be a white Christian pastor, the MAGA crew would have reduced the country to rubble.
NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

This is a really great story that treats gender transition/ detransition as a living, human process.
“The hypocrisy just proves to me that no matter what I do, people are going to be transphobic to me. People are going to question my gender. And I just have to do me.”
Her gender transition set her free. So did her detransition.
The joy that Adriana Del Orden feels in her body could have only come through transitioning. She’s tired of being told that she ruined her life.
