These women & their sons would have been better served without the additional labor of the fathers in their homes & marrying each other (or cohabitating/living near each other) to raise their children together with two engaged, competent parents. Or more. A community. The tourists can visit.

It isn't "misandry" to point out this is common & normalized in our culture. For all women. And well documented. Describing this as "misandry" is dismissive DARVO. Women do more than twice as much domestic labor than men. Even when employed. Even when he's not.

And I realize there's a bit of CGI but it's not like they have to train the dragons like they do GOT/HOD. No excuse to have this much time between seasons.

While I'm angering pie people, chocolate always trumps everything. Key lime pie is not good. Yes, I'll eat it. Yes, I'll enjoy it. And I'll still think chocolate would have been better.

The thing I will always think about is Zuckerberg has three daughters. How do men, especially famous men who've had their bigotry & skeevey behavior so publicized, explain themselves to their daughters? And of course the answer is to normalize it to them.

I remember desks like these & a left-handed friend struggling in them. (Frankly how we write is bullshit once you see left-handed people smearing through their work.)

I find myself often thinking about my mother telling how she briefly sent my brother to a catholic school & they punished him for being left-handed so she yanked him out & said I think the fuck not. He's the only leftie in my family but through my life Ive known many. I apply this to much in my life

Ha! I just made a meme out of this the other day with my face & replacing phone with boyfriend. I don't want to feel obligated to someone (& don't want to be settled for because they want labor). I think patriarchy & capitalism have done serious damage to humanizing each other & love.

Like clockwork, the men who feign ignorance over plurals & want to be personally excluded & thrown a parade will be relentless in showing you that they felt seen until you are forced to block them. The Not All Men delegation have the worst representatives.

I'll never forget the white guy who said as much in regards to white supremacy & it still haunts me at the compete lack of vision for a better world. And a lot of men trot out this "fear" to justify patriarchy too.
