I stg if I see one more of you talk about someone “ratioing” someone on Twitter as if that means literally anything in the actual world, I’m going to just lose it. It’s 2025, my babies. Twitter is the Mos Eisley Cantina if it were set in 1946 Argentina. It doesn’t mean what you think it means.

Court settlement with Anthropic AI for stealing my book (which took 4 yrs to research/write) + hundreds of thousands of others is done, at $1.5bn.
Works out to about $3k per book impacted, to be split among author(s) and publisher.
Not a lot of money per author, but I hope that dollar figure hurts.

Almost 60% of the Somalis in MN are U.S.-born. 87% of foreign-born Somalis are naturalized U.S. citizens.
No one deserves extrajudicial treatment in our streets, but it bears noting that if ICE does here what we see them doing in other communities, they'll be doing a lot of it to American citizens.

real irony here in this crowd including 3 people with Italian last names, 2 people with Hispanic last names, and a guy with an Irish triple name laughing the hardest
Trump, continued: "What the Somalian people have done to Minnesota is not even believable. It’s not even believable. And a lot of it starts with the governor. A lot of it starts with Barack HUSSEIN Obama, because that’s when people started coming in... They want to kiss our country good night."

so we are just letting this terror happen in our communities?
no elected folks have decided that this is enough -- not just with a stupid tweet but with consistent, concerted, unrelenting messaging to the American people, and using every level of power and influence at their disposal?
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

Just imagining how much better it would be if ALL news stories about vaccine-preventable illnesses were illustrated with pictures of people with the disease, not pictures of needle injections. If you must show something that people will find scary & unpleasant, make it the disease, not the cure.
I'm so tired of measles.

I'm also tired of people using needle shots on stories like this.

Show what measles looks like.
