I spotted a hungry-looking crow this morning at the high school and threw him a peanut from my sunroof. The way he looked at the peanut and then back at me with such surprise and consternation, I think he may be an anti-litter crow.

Sometimes I get so infuriated by crimes people commit against others that I want to really get in there with my teeth and nails. I want to be a werewolf. A justice werewolf.

This should be another golden rule: Accept nothing a child offers you, aside from love from afar, as it is either viral or bacterial.

I just realized the Internet is 100% cat propaganda! I have fallen for it hook line and sinker as I watch kitten videos on every single platform available every morning and night. I thought I was a responsible consumer and yet cat insidiousness has dug its claws in!

I’ve started befriending the neighborhood crows today. I have a cup of unsalted peanuts in shells in my car to toss them for snackies. I’m not sure the kissy noises are necessary but they are inevitable. This morning was the first successful snack session!

Just had a convo establishing mutual allyship with a coworker as January approaches. Next up, starting conversations with my neighbors of 5 years and CERT training. I’m terrified of building community but it must be done.
