the manga version is even better - and it's one of the best Lupin stories ever told

it's fascinating to see it evolve into a show that manages to really fit every vibe that would come into it later on - including the more modern Woman Called Fujiko Mine-style

Part 1 is fascinating because it's like three shows in one with all the changes made throughout it creatively and some of it still looks gorgeous - they mastered the close-ups of things too

this was exactly the sea change the Lupin series needed - made it bigger than at any point it had been since the second series

ah now that's a misnomer - "normal" doesn't exist!

The Visionaries would be an improvement over The Vision.
