The Pianet seemed to be the standard for British bands through the early 70s. (Zombies, Small Faces, Crimson, Roxy Music, etc) I presume they were easier to import from Germany than getting a Wurli or Rhodes from the US.

That clip isn’t even the worst offender. There’s footage in which they’ve sync’d the mouths to match the lyrics while their hands are playing different tunes.
