Then on Nov. 13, Epstein emailed that he was "at trump tower". Which was buzzing with transition activities. By Nov 17 C-SPAN had a feed of the lobby - might find Epstein in it.

Why would Epstein know Trump's election prospects on Oct. 15? Maybe Russia. That month Epstein arranged for Trump advisors Peter Thiel & Tom Barrack to meet Russian Vitali Churkin. Russia fed hacked emails to WikiLeaks. Then Thiel's folks spun up Pizzagate: a conspiracy about a pedophile ring. 4/

One fascinating thing in the Epstein email drop is an exchange around Trump's election in 2016. It suggests a tense, ongoing relationship - and Epstein's dark contacts.

Part 1: On Sept 23, Linda Stone jokes with Epstein that he'll get a cabinet position if Trump wins. Like Trump owes him one. 1/

To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?

This is not the first time we've seen federal agents direct chemical agents indiscriminately at members of the public in Chicago. Not at people attacking them or even protestors, just people going on with their day.

I feel like some people in power forgot that we’ve had a whole lot of things (strikes, labor laws, social safety nets) as compromise for not marching on their estates with torches. The arc of the universe doesn’t bend in any particular direction but scythes are shaped that way for a reason.

DHS confirmed it has stopped automatically storing officials' text messages.

Instead, officials are supposed to take a screenshot, send that to their work email, download it onto their work computer and run a text-recognition program on it. Every time.

These cases are nightmares. Many people had removal proceedings “administratively closed” for years; the case is off the docket and the person can stay indefinitely.

Now, suddenly, ICE is restarting them. And if they miss a physical letter, they might get ordered deported without their knowledge.
Hundreds of immigration cases in San Francisco have been closed for years, even decades, often b/c they are not an enforcement priority.

Many involve victims of crime & abuse.

This summer, Trump attorneys tried to bring them back.
