amen
I thought I really hated the invasion of sports betting into every discussion of sports on TV/the internet.

But every day I find I can hate it just a little bit more.

Me: Why are they talking about Walter Cup favorites? The PWHL season isn’t even a week old.

TV People: Let’s look at the Fanduel odds…

Me: God damn it.

It's normal to feel a sense of shame ordering at Taco Bell, right?

Happens once every 2-3 years, but sometimes the heart wants what it wants. And I wanted cheap soft tacos and to try a Doritos monstrosity.

Every word of this is true, ofc. And I want that hat.

But I'm personally more annoyed at how all these sales holidays take over tech news to make everything an affiliate-link-filled shopping network.
J'en ai assez des pubs du vendredi fou. Je vis au Québec et vous n'avez pas besoin d'une fête américaine pour proposer des rabais si ça vous chante.

Finally, Battletoads the way it was meant to be played: with save states

(The other games are all absolute top-flight stuff, legit "happy holidays" fare)
Nintendo added more games to Switch Online!

NES:
- Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos
- BATTLETOADS

Game Boy:
- Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters
- BIONIC COMMANDO

Colleen would tell me to buck up and get back to the rink. That there are stories to tell and scores to share and life to live.

And so I’m here. And this is tough.

But it’s comforting to be with the curling community. And we’ll honour Colleen and celebrate Colleen.

pretty sure I found it. If you want to catch the, uh, nuance around the cursing, it's just a lot of words to say "stop screwing around" and "hustle" ^_^

There are approximately a zillion (+/- couple mil) fun creative projects I want to be working on!!

But, oof, feels like all I can do lately is keep up with work and play hockey (though kinda mediocre on ice lately <_<). Any time between those feels grey and like they don't really happen, somehow.

People get so so weird about this; I'll never understand.

"Because I'm driving everyone home after" always leads to "oh well you can still have one!"

How about you fuck off into the sun instead? Too many goddamn idiots on the roads and I won't be one of them, thanks. Every event, every time.
Just a friendly reminder as we go into the holidays:

Folks don't have to explain to you why they don't drink.

If you offer them a drink and they decline, don't ask them why. It's not your business.

Just offer them something without alcohol to drink instead. And move on.
