If a guy is acting alone, has no ID and targets the wrong Texas woman (a legal resident that they think is not)- it could get ugly. I was surprised by the number of women I knew in the Dallas area who had “cute little guns” in their handbags - it came up frequently on our local FB mom group.

In Texas, you are legally justified in using force to protect yourself from an unlawful abduction by someone you reasonably believe to be a law enforcement impersonator, and emoasizes the reasonableness of your belief and allows self-defense against unlawful force.

My mom is here for two weeks 😂 which is why I wish it was in January. Or February, just in time for my fitness resolutions to fizzle out.

I try to write every day but around everyone else’s schedule.

With NaNoWriMo I had an excuse to focus just on writing and the family cheered me on while I half-assed meals and the house got messy. It absolved me of guilt. 😂😂

I find this so ironic when it’s just hard to believe so many of these decisions are actually being made by Dementia Don. He may be holding the pen but I have to wonder how much he knows about what’s really going on.

Currently reading and I fully admit it’s one that needs more concentration than all her others. I am enjoying it though!
