That recontextualization makes me approach every decision thinking about what will make the community happy. Happy communities want to play more TCGs!
Then it's just getting silly with it. It's a game and doing silly stuff for the community goes a long way in buying investment in the events you run

What's worked super well is not treating communities like you are doing them a favor by running events for them. They are doing you a favor by playing in your store.
