"If the 'DOGE' endeavor is working, why can’t the White House just tell the truth about what it's doing?"

(sorry for the page break)

Blatantly announcing to us how they're going to get around those silly laws we have in place.

This is FUCKED UP.
They expect to save 640 million dollars over 10 years. By taking away SSI from disabled children who do not attend school.

That's nothing. That's a penny for you and me. Just to make some families lives even harder than they already are.

Save 20 billion by taxing employer-provided gyms.... but lose 750 billion by not taxing overtime?

I wonder if they're just going to throw darts and choose random policies until they add up the the numbers they're looking for

Is this one saying that we will pay taxes on imported goods?
January 29, 2025 at 6:26 AM
This is so extremely desperate, and I'm only on page 11 of 50.

Let's count the benefit of an on-site gym at work as taxable income. We'll get an extra 2 billion a year. You might think it'll cost more than that in medical expenses, but that's only because you think there will still be hospitals.

Saving money AND making it harder to get an education? Punishing single parents (and many others) by removing the head of household filing status? Get rid of HSAs?

26 billion over 10 years is literally nothing in terms of federal spending. I'd be embarassed if I was this bad at budgeting.

That's right - we should cut government waste.

But we're seeing Trump and Musk's plan in action: pausing federal funds that rip school lunch away from preschoolers and end Meals on Wheels for seniors. That's not efficiency, it's cruelty.

I have better ideas.

Looks like @warren.senate.gov wrote a letter to the Office of Government Ethics last week about Trump's crypto scheme, I love finding stuff like this

Everyone's saying 'no one is doing anything', but they are, the media just isn't covering it <3

They don't know how to use technology properly...

Here's a leaked(?) budget options document. They're considering removing non-profit status from hospitals.

Has anyone looked into this 'protect the vote' thing? Know anyone who volunteered? Isn't this 'ensuring Republicans win' wording for election volunteers bordering on illegal? They were recruiting poll workers with this language, not doorknockers and campaigners...

Maybe we should all just write to Ghislaine Maxwell and beg her to start talking? She was photographed with Trump on multiple occassions...
