Until now, Belgians could only access government sites using Itsme or an ID card reader. MyGov.be, a new digital identity app lets citizens log in securely to government platforms such as Tax-on-Web, My Pension, and My eBox.

📣THREAD: It’s surprising to me that so many people were surprised to learn that Signal runs partly on AWS (something we can do because we use encryption to make sure no one but you–not AWS, not Signal, not anyone–can access your comms).

It’s also concerning. 1/
PSA: we're aware that Signal is down for some people. This appears to be related to a major AWS outage. Stand by.

Some people say it's always DNS but I say it's always a race condition. In the AWS outage it was a race condition in the DNS.

Who and when, the hell, decided that one of the worst programming languages after VisualBasic (JavaScript) and web technologies are good for desktop apps through Electron? All in all current state is something that is absolutely expected.

Watched a video from a fellow developer about their journey in finding a TypeScript stack that manages real-time updates, streaming, and background jobs. It required multiple subscriptions.

In #ElixirLang, we often take for granted how seamlessly these features come with the platform.

Good #rust question. I find this question is something that people used to OOP often skip over and jump directly to the OOP answer and try to shoe-horn that into rust. This usually fails fast.
Time for another stupid rust question. #aurora_rust

So, in my program I have a structs which are called Tasks, there are certain types of those Tasks that I am making such as "Oneclick", "Ontime", etc.

How do I put all of them in one vector so that I can store them in one place?

Please pardon my language, but what the fuck (at the headline, not the OP)?

Cyrus II, the founder of the Achaemenids (the first Persian Empire) gets *really good* press in Jewish scripture, because he allowed the exiles to return and rebuild the temple; they benefited from Achaemenid tolerance.
Only in the Middle East are relatively comprehensible modern conflicts rooted in the balance of power of nation-states reduced to quasi-mystical "ancient hatreds."
