I actually kinda like it no joke. I love the steam deck and if it feels anything like how holding a steam deck is then it could be nice

From the video they put out it actually looked like your hands are further up on the controller than the images appear

That and Xbox seems interested in having other companies make Windows 11 PCs and then slap an Xbox app on it as the GUI instead of doing their own console which might be the future of Xbox. That's speculation for sure but I've slowly been getting more into Steam after getting the deck

I certainly don't "hate" xbox but I'd say that quite a few Xbox games sold on disc have only an installer on the disc and no game data so in that case even discs are a digital game

That and just to play games online it's now $120/year which I don't find affordable since I don't use it enough

I was instantly intrigued by Steam Machine. The controller looked interesting when I saw posts about it earlier in the week. I think this could be a good console contender. The steam deck is a great device and if I can get something more powerful but has the same setup without the fuss I'm in

I try to get my wife to let us keep the tree up all year round and just put rgb lights on it and light it up to the colors of the corresponding holidays lol

I'm kind of a quiet person in real life. Unless I'm in a social situation I typically don't speak (unless it's with my wife, she's the only person I like speaking with because she's my best friend)

So when I do any streaming I feel obligated to speak and then I end up being super awkward lmao

I bought a micro sd card one time and they shipped it in a box for some reason. I opened the box and there was nothing inside

Which was weird until I realized it had slid under one of the flaps lmao

Had to set it to DHCP. I reserved that IP I didn’t have to worry about it changing

But yeah weird that the PC had no internet but the vm running inside the pc did

Reminds me of the library where the dhcp server was a vm and ProxMox main server got the ip address from the server it was running lol

The w11 vm has internet but apparently the computer itself didn’t? After troubleshootinga bunch I discover that it’s because I set a static IP on the mini PC in the ProxMox setup but the vm is using dhcp and got an ip from the router so it got internet but ProxMox only has local network
