I get cards signed because it’s kind of my version of bling. I focus on cards I really enjoy or which emotionally resonate with me. I treasure my alpha Sengir I got signed be Anson Maddocks at MCVegas in 2023.

Over on FB @corrinalawson.bsky.social posted about comic panels that live rent-free in our brains. That got me thinking about longer sequences that do the same. I am not a big fan of Geoff Johns, the guy who scripted this bit, but credit where due: This just plan kicks ass.

Replace "Communists" with "transgender" or "immigrants." That's where we are at right now. Yet we have Democrats voting for bills that restrict trans kids' access to care and saying they look forward to finding common ground with Trump's unfit, dangerous and corrupt nominees.

Replace "communists" with "trans folk." That's where we are *right now*. Several states have restricted trans kids' access to gender-affirming care. The NDAA restricts kids of military personnel from accessing such care. Trump says he is going to go after trans care and educational access.
