Deer Drama

Animal Control Officer Clark responded to a call near Parmalee Elementary School in Indian Hills after a young deer got itself stuck in a fence. The little one was wedged in tight and was making sure the whole neighborhood knew it. Translation of the loud protests: “Get me outta here!”

Girl Scouts Learn Fingerprinting and Cookie Thieves Everywhere Tremble

An Evergreen Girl Scout troop recently earned their Detective Badge with help from Deputy Bybee. They lifted prints, worked on a mock case and learned how clues tell a story.

Our deputies recently received a Flock hit on a stolen Chevy Silverado in the Evergreen area. The driver attempted to evade deputies by using side streets and back roads, but with the help of some well-placed stop sticks, we were able to slow the vehicle down after disabling multiple tires.

Happy Birthday to K-9 Lucca who turns four years old today. She is a Dutch Shepherd born in the USA from Dutch parents.

Lucca is trained in electronics detection and is one of the few dogs in the state or country with this skill.

A Traffic Unit deputy caught a motorcycle speeding at 116 mph in a 45 near S Kipling and W Bowles. The rider now faces a judge who will confront this disregard for life and safety with the gravity it deserves.
