this kind of knocking everything down because you won one election is really troubling. that's our information, our data, our institutions, and you're a temporary caretaker. you shouldn't be able to just raze what came before, even if you want to go in another direction. shit is really broken
It appears that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has, within the past week, scrubbed a large amount of climate change content from its official website, as well as *removed human-caused warming* from the discussion on its "causes of climate change" page.

1) a guy who thinks that people are genuinely good and want to do the right thing, but who has to try and square that with capitalism, and so constructs an opposition to government

This doesn't make sense when you remember that puberty blockers are regularly prescribed for cis children all the time with no issue. It's only banned for trans youth.

while i was reading this post a guy on the sleepy residential street right outside my window was honking his car horn no fewer than eighteen times for no appreciable reason so yeah i think it’s getting worse
Can't remember if it was this bad before COVID but I'm seeing an alarming spreading of what I'll call Airport Behavior to other public places. Obliviousness to other people's existence, ineptitude at navigating the environment. "Is this your first time at the grocery store" type stuff
