It may matter that if I see something I don't understand, I go look at it.

(Warning: this sometimes leads to me staring at a coffee table on which an object was moved while I was out of the room)

My boss said she's never found a body, living or otherwise. What do people do with their time?

Final four!

I did!

Just a weird coincidence, I think.

The previous time, I declined to move the unresponsive person because he was right by the LRT tracks but not where he would be hit and I wasn't sure I could keep him from rolling towards the tracks and not away.

I have first aid training on the 9th and I need to ask the teacher about shaking people. This is the second time I've been unable to revive someone by shaking them, when an EMT had no trouble at all.

(The second time on GRT transit)

Does a review written by a Canadian count as CanCon?

I don't know what the fireman did that was different from me.

Anyway, at one point 911 suggested I try CPR, which is when I discovered he was wedged in good and I couldn't move him onto his back.

I found someone unresponsive in the 205 bus shelter near Mill. Spent the whole time before EMTs showed up shaking and yelling at the guy. No response.

The _fireman_ shook him and the guy jumped to his feet and ran off into the blizzard. Really hoping he doesn't turn up in a snow bank.

(con't)

I am impressed that despite the blizzard, emergency services managed to arrive within five minutes of me calling 911.

It got me as far as Mill Station last night, and then back to Central when the 205 mysteriously failed to arrive.

Yeah, yeah, there's as much evidence for the 204 eastbound as there is for the tooth fairy.

I would have taken "we are concerned the bomb we dropped on you that did not go off could fall into the wrong hands so we demand its return," as parody but apparently it isn't.

I guess the kids could bicycle... Hope there are fewer voracious farm dogs than there were in my day.

Waterloo Oxford DSS pretty much has to be, unless the kids are driving themselves. Which would be problematic for the under-16s.

One rule that did apply to him was that he was barred from the kitchen. He would break this rule if I was the only one around.

Once, when he did this, I got his human on the phone. As soon as he heard her voice, he scuttled out of the kitchen and into the basement...

Oddly, the Conservatives opted for a less appealing version of the Conservatives.

My focus group says what the NDP really need to do is to become a slightly less appealing version of the Liberals.
