The most absurd thing about this CBC report was when they suggested that “every major Canadian city is racing to meet their climate targets”.

Super interesting case.
This tragedy, alone, should have the city doing audits of all its "desire paths", seeing them as demand indicators for active transportation and then establishing proper, safe connections.
But they'll probably just put "Not A Path" signs on all of them. 🤷
