I would in fact say that 2016 Cruz was far more conventionally attractive than 2025 Paxton. He's average. POTUS needs to look like a POTUS. Paxton looks like your alcoholic uncle who always ruins Thanksgiving.

He's won statewide in TX for AG. That is a world away from trying for Governor much less POTUS. Obviously a bad picture here, but not that far off from most of what's out there aside from his posed glamour shots.

We just had an amazing long weekend with three musicals in three nights for evening entertainment. Wicked (2024) Friday, Sound of Music (1965) last night, and finishing here.
