/11 One day the Trumpists will fall. Something has to emerge from that. I'd prefer it be an honest and accountable rule of law, one actually run on principles and not on luxury motor homes, rather on the whim of some other group of strongmen.

/10 The Supreme Court and the institutions supporting it being corrupt doesn't mean that you stop defending accused criminals or suing to get your client what they deserve or fighting for justice in lower courts. When Nazis occupied Paris we didn't raze it, we took it back.

/9 By the way - we should also fight the inclination to abandon the rule of law because bad people are cynically abusing it. First, while bad things happen on a national scale, every day on a micro scale advocates use the rule of law to fight injustice and improve lives.
