It’s really annoying to see so many plots barren but if the Open Spaces team at the council are weak and ineffective it’s inevitable

Councils need to be much firmer in kicking out those who don’t cultivate.
Surrey Hills here and I’d say 30% of our plots are wild. Too many sob stories

My FIL was a rear gunner in a Lanc
Never fired his gun in anger because any discharges meant you had to strip, clean and re-assemble it when you got back to base and for him, that meant a waste of valuable bar time in the mess
