George Chisholm was a Scottish trombonist. In the 1930s he moved to London where he played clubs and accompanied visiting US artists such as Fats Waller, Coleman Hawkins a.o. In the 1950s he joined the BBC Showband.

Egil Johansen was a Norwegian-Swedish drummer, composer and arranger. Mid 1950s he moved to Sweden, at that moment one of Europe’s jazz hot spots and became one of Sweden’s most significant post-war musicians. Johansen passed away OTD in 1998.

Emile Christian was a trombonist and bassist. He played with the Original Dixieland Jass Band, toured Europe. In the interbellum he stayed in Europe and recorded various sides there. After WWII he worked with Louis Prima a.o. Christian died OTD in 1973.

Wilbur de Paris was a trombonist who worked with Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington. In 1957 he toured Africa under the International Program for Cultural Relations (jazz diplomacy).
He died in 1973.
