On the final day in Cairo our group for LOI were given the honour of an audience with his Holiness Pope Tawedros II at his papal residence. This week with Orthodox and Evangelicals from across the world has been deeply moving. Representing @churchesengland.bsky.social an honour. #ecumenical

This week I am at the Logos Centre west of Cairo with the Lausanne Orthodox Initiative. The conversations between Orthodox and Evangelicals is profound and very moving. Today I was at the monastery of St Bishoy and gave a reflection on monasticism.
