Thankful that our household has cleared the wave of COVID that knocked us out last week (the kiddo, who got the jab even more recently than we did, somehow escaped it). We get to eat our Thanksgiving meal at an excellent restaurant instead of having to eat the reservation deposit.

It’s very rare but what usually happens is they’ll either negotiate a lower lump sum payout or a longer deferral.

Since then, Era voters have elected Gil Hodges, Tony Oliva (both 2022 Golden Days) and Dick Allen (2025). BBWAA voters haven't come around yet, but Andruw Jones (1,933 hits, 66.2% last year) is trending towards election, and now it looks like Utley (1,885 hits, 39.8%) will get there eventually (5/5)
