Mothership is great when you lean into that sort of mundane, grimy Alien/The Expanse style naturalism. Shipping manifests, run-down stations, protein cubes for lunch. It really grounds the experience into hard sci-fi by the way of space trucking, making the shift into horror/action land hard.

*[The DM pulls out three printouts of said genitalia] You can choose from these three choices, they're the ones I curated as suitable for this campaign.

I assume there is going to be a physical release once the book is done? Monster Overhaul is easily one of my favorites in my ttrpg book collection.

I might or might not have configured a preset called "EAT TRASH BE FREE" on my living room LED lights that cause all my fluorescent books on the shelf to light up.

I met two of my very best friends through WoW back in the day. Hope you have a great wedding!

The Crow is an astonishing movie. The script is a pure mess and the tone swings wildly between action comedy and dark thriller. But somehow it all stays together with pure vibes and aesthetic. The casting alone was an incredible slam dunk.

Oh damn, that's a wonderful piece! Nausicaä is my favorite movie, always glad to see peoples' interpretations on it.

I just started a TTRPG club at work, and ten people signed up! Out of 70 or so people, that's a pretty good percentage.

I think firearms are facinating mechanisms. They are almost entirely non-electronic devices relying on pure physical mechanics to operate due to their unique constraints, like that they're powered by literal explosions and have to be supremely reliable.

I think it has to be Mothership that really showed me how great products indie ttrpg creators are making.

Fallout ending slides really defined the concept of "your actions matter in the narrative" to me at a very young age.

I remember when Escapist did those weekly issues, like a magazine? It was great, I read most articles without having to worry about missing anything. Add in pioneering video series like ZP, and The Escapist was a genuinely good site. Horrible to see how far down they have fallen.

My books and swag arrived a few weeks ago, and I gotta say they're gorgeous.

Honestly had to take a double take, at first I thought it was some upscaled version of a random room in FF7 😅

Damn, strong Final Fantasy VII vibes here. I love it.
