Fistful of Frags (2014), by Fistful of Frags Team. A pure-blooded Half-Life 2 Total Conversion Mod from when such terms were still used. Wild west aesthetic meets the surreal floatiness of old school Source. Janky and stiff. Probably still the fps I'm best at. Pass the Whiskey!

Caves of Qud (2024), by Freehold Games. A crunchy traditional roguelike with writing so exquisite a simple item description might bring a tear to your eye. Obscure, but approachable. Tactical and deep, yet still 100% mood game. Live And Drink, Water-sib.

Final Fantasy VI (1994), by Squaresoft. The last of the classic 2D Final Fantasies. The most important part for me is the tone of the story. FF6 is a bleak, dark game about broken people coming to terms with their damage. The ray of hope the game ends with is truly earned.

DOOM (1993), by iD Software. The most important fps game ever made. Fast, smooth and unrelenting. The original still holds up today, and the direct descendants of the engine are still used today for incredible games like QCDE and Selaco. It had to be the first.

Finished up a half-painted #miniature for my #mordheim warband today. A bit of a practice piece, feeling a bit rusty, but should suffice for a game piece. Next up I think I'll paint something less grimy #minipainting

I've used some form of Razer Deathadder for years and years now. Can't say I'm happy with the build quality, but the form is perfect and the aesthetics are understated. My current workhorse is pictured below, had to make a leather accent to replace the rubber one that fell off.
