Excavation of Neolithic long barrow and Early Medieval round barrow (Muszkowice forest) with exciting discovery of a Funnel Beaker Neolithic pit containing large fragments of ceramic pots, daub, burned bones and flint fakes. Possible it was a sacrificial pit at the western end of the long barrow.

Excavation of Neolithic long barrow and Early Medieval round barrow (Muszkowice forest) with exciting discovery of a Funnel Beaker Neolithic pit containing large fragments of ceramic pots, daub, burned bones and flint fakes. Possible it was a sacrificial pit at the western end of the long barrow.
Just excavating an Early Medieval round barrow connected with a Neolithic long barrow in the Muszkowice forest in Lower Silesia. Found scattered fragments of cremated bones, prehistoric and medieval pottery, iron ring and a ceramic spindlewhorl.To be continued…

The Corded Ware (2900-2500 BC) female burial excavated last week at Račiněves in North Bohemia was of higher social status, as evidenced by the ring ditch with traces of palisade construction and gender specific female set of ornaments made of shell, perforated dog/wolf teeth and a copper spiral.

The Corded Ware (2900-2500 BC) female burial excavated last week at Račiněves in North Bohemia was of higher social status, as evidenced by the ring ditch with traces of palisade construction and gender specific female set of ornaments made of shell, perforated dog/wolf teeth and a copper spiral.
Today, 57 years ago, Soviet/Russian imperialists invaded my country and brutally crushed our desire for freedom and democracy. Sadly, dictatorships do not change their vile methods, and even today they are attacking once again. Support Ukraine! 🇺🇦DOWN with Putin!☠️

Just finishing excavation of the Corded Ware tomb with a ring ditch. Adult women was buried on her left side, head oriented to east. The burial assemblage consists of 3 vessels, a flint sickle blade, shell beads, perforated dog/wolf teeth and a copper spiral. Successful dig. Thanks TEAM! 🤎

This year's garden fruit harvest is exceptional; even the cornel bush, which usually has only a few cherries, provided a rich yield of Cornelian cherries. Enough for a compote drink in the Armenian style!🍒🍷🤎
