My mom and Hope and I got to see Maupin speak at one point (jeez it was actually a really long time ago now), and he was exactly as awesome as you would expect.

ooooh, I see some Armisted Maupin! The Tales of The City books were so important to me in high school.

I will be there at some point. I have a staff meeting at work Wed, so I won't get home until later. I'll probably be there at some point though, and I'll be there on Saturday at some point.

I have had one glass of wine between surgery and chemo starting, but other than that I haven't been able to drink wine since mid Aug. And then Herringer had the gall to put the Grenache, which is one of my favorites, in their latest wine club selection. Torture.

Oh I'm sure it's probably pretty mediocre. I have not tried it. We just saw it on the newest episode last night.
